The notification must be sent within one month from the event of the damage or discovered damage in order for the level of compensation not to be affected. For damages that are reported to Kammarkollegiet later than one month after the day of the damage or the date of the discovery, Kammarkollegiet makes a deduction of 20% of otherwise outgoing insurance compensation.

In the event of damage or liability for damages, the department/equivalent is responsible for the deductible. There is no deductible for consequential damage.

    - information about which property that Kammarkollegiet has assessed can be restored through compensation from the business insurance

    - collecting documents in order to ensure payment of compensation

In the assessment of whether compensation will be made is, for example if the event has been unforeseen and costs for repair or replacement of equipment/materials is reasonable.
